With sadness, we note the passing of ACTA’s longtime friend, Mr. Albert Oettinger. Albie was with us from our very beginning in 1995 and continued his encouragement and generous financial support year after year. I was always inspired by his frequent phone calls urging us to keep up the good fight to reform higher education. He kindly put us in touch with his daughter April, a distinguished professor of art history, who has shared valuable insights with the ACTA team. Words cannot accurately express our deep appreciation for Albie. We will carry on our important work, inspired by the memory of our dear friend.
