Doug Sprei is ACTA’s Vice President of Campus Partnerships and Director of the College Debates & Discourse Alliance. He is co-founder and Director of the College Debates and Discourse (CD&D) Alliance between ACTA, Braver Angels, and BridgeUSA – leading an acclaimed program that teaches students to honor ideological diversity, foster civil discourse on college campuses, and cultivate student and faculty leaders to carry the movement forward. Since 2018, the CD&D team has launched hundreds of Braver Angels campus and classroom debates across the nation, engaging 10,000+ students from 100+ college institutions. Doug also produces ACTA’s “Higher Ed Now” podcast and serves on the organization’s leadership team, shaping events and programming around building a culture of free expression on America’s college campuses.
