Program Coordinator for College Debates & Discourse Alliance
Kayla Johnston joined ACTA as the Program Coordinator for the College Debates and Discourse Alliance in January 2024. She works closely with students, faculty, and campus allies to integrate, plan, and organize debates and dialogue workshops at colleges and universities across the US. Kayla graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, receiving a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in American Government and a minor in History. Kayla currently lives in Kernersville, North Carolina, where she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time exploring the outdoors with her family.
